October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 1 out of every 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. In addition, breast cancer is the second leading cause of death among women. We all have the power to work within our communities to try to change the numbers.
We are proud to have partnernered with the Breast Care Center at Springfield Hospital in Springfield, VT to help with breast cancer research and care right here in our local community.
